Singapore Budget Terminal

Yup, we set off to ho chi minh from the new budget terminal. The slogan for the budget terminal is Feel the Difference, which we immdiately did when we have our boarding pass given to us wrtten with ballpoint pen. hmmm...

Then we proceed to the plane where have to board by going onto the runway then to the plane... quite cool actually... how often do you actually get to walk on the runway... then of course the flight to ho chi minh... hmm.. the bad thing about budget flight is that you have to pay for the food on board, so we went without it. =)

Finally the pictures...

geoks say:

We are currently at Nha Trang now, yes, we have left the mountains for the beach. Nothing much here actually except the beach of course.... and it is also back to the hotter climate. Nha Trang is about 7 hours of bumpy road away from dalat, and i almost die both from the bumpy ride and boredom. we were so bored that we tried to play chinese chess on the bus to no avail....

so i expected sort of at the a grand appearance of the beach, you know like "tada there is the beach when the bus stop." so when the bustop and i could not see the beach i was like "huh?". yup the beach is like two streets away, but the sand looks clean and the water looks clean and green and blue. as we are not as sun deprived as those on the beach... we didn't join the sun tanning crowd... in the end, we went for a mud bath and hot spring. quite relaxing. haha. a brand new experience. we were literally rolling in the mud. the mud is suppose to have some positive effects to our skins that i hope is working... and the hot spring is err... hot and salty... haha

ok got to go, mona is in the room reading a book, better go back before she sleeps and i got locked out. will update again if have time. going snorkering tomorrow! see ya soon!

Geoks says:

updating on a computer that is running on 56k, i think. this post is to tell you all that both of us is currently still alive, but as the computer here can't read cd or usb, we can't upload any pictures at the moment. (they dun even have a drive) and the things that we have done for the past three days is too long and interesting to be covered by a few words.

mona:

so we spent 1 night in Ho Chi Minh. crossing the roads here is a freaking adventure. best is to cross with eyes shut. stayed in a very nice place called RED SUN and were treated very well. took night bus to Dalat, this hillside place, where we're at now typing this. reached at 4 am in the morning cos the ride took 7 hours. we were both wearing shorts and got a shock of our lives cos the temperature was around 15+ degrees celsius. like we got off in a fridge. but this is a very nice place. we hired 2 motorbike riders to take us around to see a minority village and see waterfalls and geok's crazy house. really cool to get around on motorbike, beats the tourist bubble bus. And today we went canyoning!! that means we did abseiling down rock walls, waterfalls and we got to slide down a tiny waterfall and went trekking too. FUN!! we're running out of things to do in Dalat tho, we're leaving tmr morning to Nha Trang. One of our favourite activities no doubt is eating ourselves silly, tried all sorts of stuff here but didnt like all hahaha. ok more later!

geoks say:

ok mona did cover what we did roughly in more than a few words afterall...

to cheeling: your msg arrive ONE day after we reach vietnam, so we did finish packing our bags. guess you are still 3 days slow.

to lijun: you are the winner! your msg arrive two days late, we already left Ho Chi Minh. so i conclude that you are at least five days slow...

to Miss Sam: dun worry, we are not wasting space and is currently still living life on the edge. Enjoy your trip to Norway!

- we will upload pictures if we can find a comp with at least a disk drive...

Geoks, the uninspired partner says:

i too have not pack my bag, and is hoping to complete the daunting task in the next 24 hours, as i have to be at the airpot in roughly 27 hours time. and yes, i am still very uninspired to finding a more creative title for the blog... maybe i should include some chemical formula or something... must apply what i study... hmmm... stay tuned ( but do not expect regular update as 1. internet might not be readily available 2. i have better things to do then surf net in vietnam)
